Perfect metalworking is impossible without sheet metal processing. That’s why the new generation of TENADO METAL 3D includes a sheet metal processing function that provides you with all the tools you need to design sheet metal accurately and quickly.
Metalworkers use various methods in TENADO METAL 3D to create their sheet metal parts. In addition to practical templates for sheet metal components, in which the material thickness, bending radius, and corner relief are specified, standard components can also be created under certain conditions and then converted into sheet metal components.
To create particularly customized sheet metal components, users can first create a single surface and then customize it and adapt it to the required dimensions.
In TENADO METAL 3D, you have all sheet metal processing functions at a glance, clearly arranged and self-explanatory, so you can get started right away without wasting any time.
Simply open your project and then select the sheet metal you want to create. You have a wide range of options to choose from, as the selection of sheet metal variants is comprehensive:
If you want to realize particularly individual projects and, for example, design the right infill panel for your railing construction, start with the surface.
Once you have determined the shape and dimensions, a sheet metal blank is created, which can then be processed as desired and adapted to the railing. Certain standards are stored in the TENADO METAL 3D sheet metal processing function and are automatically applied to the blank.
As always in 3D CAD software, customized solutions are no problem, and factors such as thickness, material, and unfolding type can be adjusted. If you use certain data particularly frequently, it can be saved as a new standard or favorite.
