On May 8 and 9, 2026, the metalworking industry will gather in Berlin for the Federal Metal Industry Association Conference (BVT) – the central industry event for exchange, discussion, and hands-on insights. Under the guiding theme “What does the metal trades sector need – and what must change so our businesses can continue to operate successfully tomorrow?”, representatives from the skilled trades, industry, and academia will discuss current economic policy conditions and future strategies for metalworking companies.
