FM 309 – Mastering System Simulation Using OverTime (4 Hours)
Course Description:
FM309 is In this 4-hour follow-on to FM-203 , users explore more advanced applications of PIPE-FLO OverTime to add simulated control logic behavior to their PIPE-FLO digital twin. The class will go through how to develop control schemes and timing for piping systems based on OverTime logic and results. Systems modeled include a stormwater sump, a cascading batch process production line, and a continuous flow filtration system. Prerequisite – FM203
Course Objectives:
- Gain hands-on experience setting up and executing a goal seeking analysis to set multiple valve positions for a chilled water system
- Learn how to convert process logic into OverTime rules to model different behavior in your digital twin
- See how input curves can be used to understand how your system will operate under varying conditions and use to predict and mitigate possible failure modes
- Explore OverTime usage in both batch and continuous process applicationsLength: 4 hours (4 PDH, 0.4 CEU)
